Session 2 will show that Christians cannot be disengaged from this present life but must be aware of what is taking place within society and must fight against evil. Christians cannot use the hope of heaven as an excuse to pass away their days in idleness while pursuing earthly leisures and comfort. Christians must fight against evil and seek to promote a just society where the Church can flourish and the Gospel can be openly proclaimed.

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. – Jeremiah 29:7
