Friday, October 25

    • The story of Luther and how his discovery of the gospel brought joy and certainty to the world.
  • 8pm – The Music of Forgiveness
    • Defining Protestant beliefs regarding anthropology and the doctrine of salvation.
Saturday, October 26
  • 10am – Calvin’s Concern
    • The life and teaching of John Calvin and his concern that Christ alone be glorified.
  • 11am – The Reformation and the American Church Part 1
    • Overview of how the Calvinistic Church of England, the Lutherans, pilgrims and puritans and Huguenots brought the Protestant faith to America.
  • 12pm – Lunch
  • 1pm – The Reformation and the American Church Part 2
    • Have we been faithful to the teachings the early Protestant churches passed down to us?
Sunday, October 27

    • Hear the Word preached faithfully by Pastor Jerry Jackson of Christ Reformed Church.

Speaker: Charles E. Fry

Charles E. Fry (B.A., Marshall University; B.A., Moody Bible Institute; M.A. in Theology, Concordia University Irvine) teaches Church History with The Navigators and has spoken in various church and conference settings on the Protestant Reformation. He is the author of The Word of the Cross: Martin Luther’s Heidelberg Disputation and A World Upside Down: Four Essays on the Life and Theology of Martin Luther. He lives in Ona, West Virginia with his wife, Lisa, and their daughter, Heidi.
